Quality, reliability and service are of the highest priorities at FMD. This philosophy is ingrained from technology development to customer support.
 Technology
We own or co-own with foundries most of the technologies used in our products. All our EEPROM products are manufactured using our proprietary UltraEE™ technology. This intimate knowledge of the technologies enables us to monitor quality more closely.
 Design
We incorporate "Design for Testing" circuits in our products. In EEPROM we are able to do a more thorough pattern tests and accelerated life testing on EVERY part shipped without adding substantially to testing cost.
 Testing
We develop all testing programs ourselves to ensure the products are tested thoroughly. We do not skimp on testing to cut cost. Instead we tested more parameters to make sure our products meet the highest standard. In EEPROM every batch of material is tested for endurance and every part is cycled to weed out infant mortality. They all go through high temperature and room temperature data retention loss screening to approach the target of zero field failures.
Quality Control
We have strict in house quality controls and inspection procedures to ensure the products shipped meet our highest standard. We regularly sample our finished products and run rigorous CP tests and life tests as an audit of our production line. Anything failures will result in a review of the testing and production procedures.
FAE
We have a strong FAE team standby to help with customers’ problems. Preliminary reports are generally given within one working day, and a full report 3 days after all data are collected. |
